Oh God,
I cannot count
the many ways
that You are tender
toward me!
Pardoning,
healing,
redeeming me,
Your lovingkindness
is higher than the very sky!
With such compassion
You have sent away
the shame of my mistakes
an infinite distance
in either direction.
In response,
may I come into the presence
of the moment’s praise,
accept myself (as You have)
in the humility of my humanity,
and see all of the possible ways
this Love can
transform me.
