Lament and recognize my weaknesses,
Elevating myself
And pursuing my own fame results in
Death.
Making changes and focusing my
Eyes on my Heavenly Father.
Never dismissing the boundaries as controlling,
Overwhelming myself with unwanted choices.
Toward a more fulfilling and contented life than imagined.
Ignoring comparison to this world
Negating the earthly callings to my soul
To assume a more worldly posture
Over those around me.
Teach me dear Father, to
Engage daily with your word, and
Merge my will with yours.
Parent me with your depth and understanding
To move me into
A routine of daily counsel with you.
Tomorrow may I awake
In your will and ready to
Own my own self
No more.
