Divine Conspiracy Cohort

March 1 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 8:30 am on Sunday, repeating until March 15, 2020

For many of us, we can celebrate our love for Jesus but we do not have regular, healthy, honest patterns of true discipleship. Dallas Willard, in his book The Divine Conspiracy: Rediscovering our Hidden Life in God, aptly writes, “We fail to be disciples only because we do not decide to be. We do not intend to be disciples. It is the power of the decision and the intention over our life that is missing. In this cohort we will engage this brilliant book which skillfully weaves together biblical teaching, popular culture, science, scholarship, and spiritual practice, revealing what it means to "apprentice" ourselves to Jesus. Using Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount as his foundation, Willard masterfully explores life-changing ways to experience and be guided by God on a daily basis, resulting in a more authentic and dynamic faith. Worship Gathering – ONLINE

March 1 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Sunday, repeating indefinitely

Based on the recommendation of state and local authorities, we are cancelling all Sunday worship services and activities from now through April 5th. A video sermon will be available online at 10am every Sunday as we continue to walk through the book of Mark in our Follow series. Our weekly podcast will also be available. While it is truly disappointing to miss these opportunities to connect and grow together, we are taking seriously our responsibility to love each other and our vulnerable neighbors well and to free time and resources for care and missional engagement. If you have any needs or questions, contact the W242 Health Team at [email protected] We encourage you to be praying for each other, for those on the front lines of care, and for those who are at risk. You can also email [email protected]  anytime with updates and requests. To get the latest update, click here.
