While education, family stability, career readiness, and other strategies are critical, could it be that the arts are an untapped resource for addressing upward mobility?

How are the arts crucial in holistic development and educational success? How could the arts help us come to terms with our history of segregation and exclusion while giving us new ways of imagining the future together? How might arts organizations, networks, and advocates lead the way in providing opportunity for those who lack social capital?
