The Skinny: July 14, 2019
Headlines & Sunday Announcements
Every Sunday in July
July is Sabbath month for our volunteers in Kids Warehouse. We have paid childcare for early childhood and Pre-K. All other students will be in the arena for the worship service. If you have any questions you can contact Shawn directly.
July 14- August 18
The art gallery at Warehouse 242 is currently featuring a variety of work by Joel and Emily Hopler. Not only should you swing by the gallery to take in the beauty, but each piece is available for purchase through a silent auction! Simply print your name on the corresponding bidding sheet in the gallery, write your bid, and keep an eye out for any competing bids before the closing date of August 18.
Every Sunday in July @ 8:30am
Ever wanted to meet new people in our community? Wondered who that person is across the arena? Here is your chance to meet new friends and catch up with old ones. Let’s get together in the coffee room on Sundays in July. See ya there!
Caswell’s, Thursday, July 25, 7pm
There is a new community group starting! Have you heard the news?! Social Pioneers is an adult only social group for all ages (18-99) that will be happening once a month. This month we will be a Caswell’s Station (366 N Caswell Rd) in Elizabeth for Trivia. Bring friends, come meet new friends, connect with old friends, laugh, drink and try to win at pop trivia. If you have any questions reach out to Jenn directly.

Would you consider yourself a creative with a passion for art and youth? You are who we are looking for to help paint a mural to brighten up West Charlotte High. If you are interested and would like to come alongside like-minded adults and teenagers, we would love to have you. For more information click the link or email Anna Bulfin directly.
Over the course of the Summer; June-August
Hope of Kids is looking for 2-3 highly motivated volunteer advocates with an incredible willingness to help kids get an education. It would require a commitment of 2-3 hours a week focused on how to reach more children with support in Zimbabwe. If you are interested and would like more information email Stevan Talevski directly.
The search process is under way for a new Kids Warehouse Director and a Ministry Operations Director, and if you know anyone who might be interested in those positions, please direct them to the links to the job descriptions on our website.
