WOMEN’S ADVENT WREATH GATHERINGS
Wednesday, November 28 @7pm / In Homes Around the City
We have a beautiful tradition in our community of gathering before the season of Advent to build advent wreaths. An advent wreath is a table-top wreath that holds candles that will be lit each week as Advent progresses to mark the coming of Christ and our expectant waiting.
We invite you to join us for a festive evening on Wednesday, November 28 from 7-9pm to connect with women who live in your area as we build wreaths to use in our own homes during Advent.
Since we will gather in various homes across the city, once you register you will be informed which host home to attend.
CHANGED CHOICES CHRISTMAS BANQUET
Saturday, December 8, 2-5pm / Warehouse 242 Arena
Join us at the Changed Choices Christmas Party! Attendees include those who are directly impacted by incarceration and their allies (clients, staff, board, volunteers). It is a wonderful celebration of the hope that we have in Jesus, whose arrival as a baby pierced the darkness of this world and of our hearts.
The Warehouse Community has been given the awesome opportunity to serve at this event! Come out and help make this a joyous and impactful time for our neighbors.
PRACTICING ADVENT COHORT
Sundays, December 2 – 23 / The Blue Room
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MEDICAL TRIP FUNDRAISING
A group of 29 folks will be heading back to the DR in February to assist local doctors and dentists at a vital medical clinic. This year instead of each team member doing their own fundraising, we have chosen to collectively raise the money needed, and give each member of our community the opportunity to invest in the lives of our neighbors to the south. Click here to read about how your money will be used. There is a link included to make it easy for you to give!
