The Skinny: November 11, 2018
Headlines & Sunday Announcements
Sunday, November 18 @ 11:45 / The Blue Room
Warehouse will be hosting the Changed Choices Christmas Banquet on December 8, and this is a great opportunity to join with them to show radical hospitality to the women and families that Changed Choices serves and cares for. If you’d like to volunteer for the banquet, for any other event at CC, or just learn more about them, join us at this gathering. We’ll be serving lunch and providing childcare, but we need to know you’re coming, so please email Stephanie Vander Lugt to register!
We are currently taking nominations for Elder at W242. If there is someone that you feel would be a good fit for this role, please ask them before nominating them. Before moving forward, please make sure that you and the person you’re nominating read this document that outlines the characteristics, qualifications, and responsibilities of elders. If you both want to continue with the nomination, then please fill out this form.
At the end of each month we send out an email letting you know what to put on your calendars for the coming month. If you aren’t receiving those emails, let us know! We’ll make sure and get you on the list.

As a part of our mission to cultivate missional followers of Jesus, we are committed to investing in West Charlotte and in key partnerships around the world, and your participation is more important than ever.
Here are some ways you can get involved:
> Link your Harris Teeter VIC Card to Ashley Park PreK-8 School
> Join the care team whose job it is to encourage and support the faculty and staff at Ashley Park

>Donate items for the Ashley Park Greater Enrichment Program. Drop them off next week in the barrels at Kids Check-In and in the arena.
> Contribute funds towards the Ashley Park first ever field trip! You can give online (choose West Charlotte in the drop down menu) or drop a check in the offering basket with Ashley Park in the memo. For more info, email Kelly Brunk.
