The Skinny: September 23, 2018
Headlines & Sunday Announcements
Sunday, September 30 after the service
As we near the end of our series on Reclaiming Hospitality we will be hosting a Community Summit followed by a delicious lunch catered by Toucan Louie’s!
Stick around after the service to learn about how we plan to put into practice our vision of Reclaiming Hospitality across our Core Commitments of Truth, Creativity, Community, and Justice, and how you can be a part of that.
We will have childcare available for the meeting time, and then you’ll claim your little ones so that they can join us as we share a meal. Please RSVP to let us know if you will need childcare and/or you are planning to stay for lunch.
Saturday, October 13 / 9am – 12pm / Warehouse 242
Last September Mark and Pam Taft led a marriage cultivation workshop here at Warehouse. If you missed it, you have another chance on October 13 to pour into your marriage!
At this workshop – Listening Skillfully – we’ll show you some tools for better confiding with your spouse, and much better listening as your spouse gives you the gift of clearly speaking. During our 3 hours together you’ll practice this skill for confiding in each other, so you can be more intentional about being great speakers and listeners and connecting well for a strong marriage!
Childcare will be provided, so please indicate if you’ll need it when you register. We’ll also have snacks!
FRIDAY, OCT 19 – SUNDAY, OCT 21
The guys will be heading up to beautiful Montreat again this year for a weekend of connection, bears, and feats of strength. Register now so that you get the early bird rate of $145. The price goes up on September 23! If you’d like to talk with someone about scholarship opportunities, email Brent Howell
