The Skinny: July 1, 2018

Headlines & Sunday Announcements

Warehouse will be observing a sabbath for the entire month of July. We will still have Sunday morning 10am services as usual, but there will be no community-wide events.

Kids Warehouse looks a little different in July, too. We will have paid childcare for our littles (preschool and under) so that all of our KW teachers can also enjoy a break and we can all worship together, along with the elementary kids, in the arena.

Much of our staff takes vacation during July as well. If you need to get in touch with someone, feel free to email [email protected] She will know how to connect you!

Thursday, June 14 – July 26, 6:30-8:30pm / Olde Meck Brewery

For our next sermon series, Common Tables, we will be hosting a Meet-Up to build relationships and process the series content in community.  These gatherings are designed as low-entry and high-impact – that is is to say, this is an easy place for people to connect with an opportunity for high challenge and high support.  Come join us for great conversation and connection at one of the best gathering places in Charlotte.  Oh yeah, the beer is fair and the potato salad is world class! Led by Ashley Smith and Mandy Carlberg.

Have you switched your recurring online gift over to our new platform yet? Very soon the old system will no longer be used, so if you have not yet created your account on the new system, please do that today! Read more about it and get detailed instructions HERE. You can also read about our new mobile and text giving options.

Questions? contact Bob Gluck.

Kids Warehouse is preparing alongside our Warehouse community as a whole to take a deep Sabbath breath during the month of July.  Beginning July 1, and for the whole month of July:
  • Infant through Preschool (everyone in a downstairs classroom) will have paid childcare and formation activities in their classrooms.
  • Parents please drop your babies – Preschool kids off directly in their rooms after you check them in (instead of a group dismissal after worship music)
  • Elementary students (K-5th grade) stay in the Arena for the full service with you
