Starting Soon At Homes Around The City
It is a struggle to do everything, be everywhere, know everything, yes? Do you ever experience frustration with your limitations? The good news is that our limitations are by design!
You are invited to join us in a short term group to consider the character of God that, by design, is everything, everywhere, and all-knowing. We will gather in small groups around town to read and discuss the book, None Like Him by Jen Wilkin (Check it out on Amazon). We’re still working on nailing down the timing, but it will be starting soon!
Each chapter of the book is about a trait of God that we could never have (in theology terms = incommunicable traits) and we will discuss one chapter each week and explore how these traits call us to embrace our limits and invite us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God. Please email [email protected] to sign-up or for more information.
Thursday, June 14 – July 26, 6:30-8:30pm / Olde Meck Brewery
For our next sermon series, Common Tables, we will be hosting a Meet-Up to build relationships and process the series content in community. These gatherings are designed as low-entry and high-impact – that is is to say, this is an easy place for people to connect with an opportunity for high challenge and high support. Come join us for great conversation and connection at one of the best gathering places in Charlotte. Oh yeah, the beer is fair and the potato salad is world class! Led by Ashley Smith and Mandy Carlberg.
Saturday, June 23, 6:30pm / The Dock @ Warehouse
As a complement to our Common Tables talk series, the Women of Warehouse will be hosting Five + Sides – an al fresco meal together on the porch! This is open to all women of Warehouse, and feel free to bring friends, too! There will be no childcare for this event, and it is meant to be enjoyed by adults only.
$5 (paid when you register) will get you a plate full of BBQ and a beverage. Bring a side to share! When you register we’ll let you know what kind of dish to bring. We’re looking forward to sharing the table with you!
Thanks to ever-evolving technology, Warehouse is able to offer multiple ways to financially support the mission that God has given us. Check out this guide to learn about our online portal, mobile apps, and text-to-give options. Questions? contact Bob Gluck.
