The Skinny: December 17, 2017

Headlines & Sunday Announcements

Wednesday, December 20 @6:30pm

The Warehouse Students Christmas Party is coming up! Join us in the Coffee Room where we’ll worship fully through celebration, song, generosity, and ridiculousness. Please have your students dress in their fanciest fancyness or their ugliest Christmas sweater, and bring their favorite type of cookies, a few bucks for a surprise blessing, a White Elephant gift (~$5), and a pinch of Christmas cheer.

Sunday, December 25 @ 6pm

Spend a night of music, art, community, and light with us on Christmas Eve. Original film, art, spoken word, and music will mark a night of anticipation and celebration done as only Warehouse can.

This is a great opportunity to introduce friends and family to the Warehouse tradition and show them the reason we are celebrating at this time of year. As always, there will be a children’s program in Kids Warehouse.

The Coffee Room will be open beginning at 5pm with snacks and live music, so head on out early to connect with friends!

Beginning the morning of December 24, we will start gathering for one service only at 10am. There are several reasons for this, not the least of which is we just love having all of you in the room at the same time! In addition to providing a more vibrant time of worship, moving to one service will free up time before and after for other classes and spiritual development opportunities.

For the past couple of weeks you have been hearing about some exciting changes happening in Kids Warehouse. Because we will be switching to a new model, we have opportunities for volunteers to connect with kids in deep ways. We are looking for folks who would like to serve on a monthly basis with the infants, ones, and twos, and also for people who are passionate about building relationships with kids three years old through 5th grade as a unit volunteer – serving for 4-5 weeks at a time. We’d love to tell you more about it! Contact Nicole Walker to learn more!
