Student Formation Cohorts

February 10 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am

God regularly works through the most ordinary of means, such as sharing a meal together and partaking in real conversation. We invite our High School and Middle School students into these spaces to feed them, process through good questions, and give them tools by which they can more faithfully engage with God, each other, and the world as young brothers and sisters in Christ.

Be The Bridge Cohort

February 10 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am

Waging Peace in a world of trauma is one of our new core areas of action at W242. Over the course of this year, in weekly Sunday morning gatherings, we will explore how Jesus promotes the strength of non-violence and healing to be the bridge across human lines that divide. Be the Bridge is a cohort to inspire the church to have a distinctive and transformative response to racial division - to inspire the church to be present and intentional towards racial reconciliation through listening, humility, and solidarity. We will have registration information for this opportunity available soon!

The Transformative Power of the Enneagram

February 10 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am

The Enneagram is having a moment. Everywhere we turn, someone is talking about it and we’re rushing out to “find our type" so we can chime in at the next party or on social media. Problem is, many of us are left frustrated when a quick test leaves us even more confused. So we give up. Or worse, we reach for whatever “seems right” (or looks the most appealing) just to get the label. The process stops there and we're left thinking, “So what’s the big deal?" What we fail to grasp is the true power behind this ancient and very complex tool. Finding our type may happen quickly and easily for some, but for many it could take months or years. And that’s okay! That process, in and of itself, can be important and transformational. A journey into the Enneagram will, over years reveal to us that we are not who we think we are. We do the right things for the wrong reasons. We are compulsively selfish when we want to be generously loving. We do not know ourselves as well as we think we do. But when we courageously accept this challenge to plumb the depths of our particular version of the “false self,” we begin to accept the presence and the weakness of it, we slowly begin to grow into our true selves. It’s truly a paradox. Jesus is the source of total change in our lives and in our world. Our hope is to use this ancient tool called Enneagram to help us to wrestle with the implications of Christ’s Gospel and expand our worldview. In this Cohort, we will look more closely at the process of “finding your type” and you’ll receive some additional resources to help you on your journey. We will skim...

Worship Gathering

February 10 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Every Sunday, our community gathers in a converted trucking terminal in the shadow of Uptown to learn more about Jesus, and experience vibrant community together. We meet at 10:00am and offer a full Kids Ministry for children ages 4-weeks-old through fifth grade. The Warehouse Students in 6th-12th grades join us in the arena. Warehouse is about a lot more than just a Sunday morning service, but we value that opportunity to come together for an experience that we consider distinctly “Warehouse,” when we can pursue Jesus and community authentically through music, teaching, spoken word, and visual art.
